Update!

Hello blog fans!

So as you can see, I've been updating like crazy, meaning I have defeated my artist's block for now.

So what does that mean for the future of Adventures of Muffin and Nessie?

Well Nessie, I am no longer drawing. I didn't feel all too inspired in the first place, but I'm glad it ended the way it did.

Adventures of Muffin will pick up again. I know what will happen and where the comic will go. I just don't really feel like drawing it right now. I don't find it overly humorous to draw, more cute.

In terms of An Awful Kitchen, I have hundreds of different ideas for the comic. It's actually a comic that I used to draw as a kid (13 years-old to be exact). However at that time Georgio was far less suave, less intelligent, and more overweight. The comic was loaded with dated internet and pop culture references and I wanted to make this one more timeless.

He's a fun character to draw, and a very complex character which makes him more interesting to put into different situations. So I'm really excited to see where the comic will go. Hopefully you'll feel the same.

Thank you so much for the support!

Site Make-Over

To celebrate having more traffic on my blog I decided to change the decor up a bit to make it more muffiny-er! Thanks to those who pop by to read silly comics about Muffins and mythical sea creatures! Here's a happy muffin!

Lack of Cartooniness

HELLO!!!!

So... I've been slacking. The posting dry spell has gone on too long. Reasons:

1. My version of painter is very outdated, and I get very frustrated using it because there is a lack of variety with brushes, shading, etc. (The shading on this program is honestly the worst I have ever used) So I may get new photoshop. Though I cannot afford it right now because I am saving up for a trip.

2. Unlike most cartoonists I am not an art student, or do this for a full-time job. I recently got my degree, and I am trying to find jobs at the moment. Not an easy task. So spending 1-4 hours on a cartoon is not an option at this point.

3. I have a bad case of artist's block. I just don't feel like drawing lately. Every year I draw my family Christmas cards, and this year I just couldn't because it made me angry.

So hopefully that clears things up for you. I have noticed that stats for this blog have nearly tripled! Which is awesome! Usually due to my nessie drawings. This is fantastic. Maybe I'll start drawing more nessies for you!
